Nagarjuna Electric Generation Limited

Nagarjuna Group is in the process of installing a 20 MW Combined cycle power plant (CCPP) at Patancheru, Medak District, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. The Group has established Nagarjuna Electric Generating Company Limited (NEGCL) for its execution and commissioning.

Fuel

The project is envisaged based upon LDO/HSD/aphtha as the primary fuel. The fuel requirement will be met from oil companies viz. HPCL/IOC.

Implementation schedule : The proposed CCPP plant will comprise one each of Gas Turbo - Generator (GTG), Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) and Steam Turbo - Generator (STG) constituting 20 MW capacity. The open cycle comprising GTG will be commissioned by this year end and the combined cycle (which will recover the heat content of the exhaust gases from the GTG to produce steam in HRSG which will run the STG) will be commissioned by early half of the next year.
