| | | Logistics Management System | | Client | Infogain, USA | | Technology | Java,EJB, JDBC, JSP, Jbuilder, Symantic visual Café, Servlets, XML,Oracle8i, PL/SQL, Windows NT ,WebLogic,VSS, KawaIDE, TextPad | | Description | Logistics Management System is developed by Capstan System Inc for ESPRIT based on their supply chain management concepts. The System consists of sending purchase orders to the Suppliers for requesting the purchase of goods. The Supplier sends a confirmation of the receipt of the purchase orders. A copy of the same is send to the freight forwarders for making the necessary arrangements of the transport of the goods. The freight forwarder makes necessary booking arrangements with the carrier and sends a booking confirmation note to Esprit and the Supplier. The supplier manufactures the goods and packs them in cartons to be loaded on the container. The Supplier creates a shipment order for the goods to be dispatched. The container is send to the freight forwarder for loading on to the vessel. The System tracks the status of the Shipment Order. The Carrier loads the goods on the vessel and sends the status information of the shipment order to Esprit. The goods are then unloaded at the port of final destination. The goods are tracked for customs clearance. The Local trucker picks up the goods after the customs clearance and sends it to the receiving warehouse. The warehouse acknowledges the receipt of the goods. The System uses EJB technology for developing business objects. The incoming information is received as EDI document which is then converted into XML through an EDI translator. The User Interface has been developed in JSP. |
| Development and Implementation of HR-Payroll Application | | Client | Colorado Springs Utilities, USA | | Technology | Lawson Insight, UNIX, RS/6000, Cobol | | Description | This project was to develop a Time Record Support System that could interface data originating from two different time collection system known as IMPEL and RMS2000 into two different payroll systems ISI and Lawson; and to develop a New Account Structure system that could support the two way conversion involving New Account structure, old IMPEL system & the General ledger interface records. -
