ikisan is being developed as a comprehensive Agri Portal to address the Information, Knowledge and Business requirements of various players in the Agri arena viz., Farmers, Trade channel partners and Agri Input / Output companies. Leveraging information Technology and extensive field presence, ikisan is being positioned as an Information/Knowledge exchange and an e-Marketplace.

Crop Diagnosis enables the end user (mostly camps set for farmers) to assess the problem that their crop is suffering from. It is a stepwise selection of crop followed by the stage of the crop in which the damage is seen, followed by the damage, symptom, questionnaire based on which a detailed symptoms page ensuing which is the conclusion page with preventions and cures. All the steps are graphical pages with only the questionnaire being textual. Content management is done in the database itself.

Magna Infotech has taken ikisan.com as an outsourced project and has implemented Crop Diagnosis along with other modules to enable accurate diagnosis.
