Senior Business Analysts– Job Spec

Candidates will be working in the key area of IT – Business Solutions group within our Client’s IT organisation and will be responsible for interfacing with the end Client Managers and business teams and in converting requirements into functional design and specifications.

Responsibilities : 

Manage and Architect projects, comprising:

• Contribute to Requirement gathering and preparing Business Requirement Documents
• Estimate effort, skills and resource requirements
• Develop overall Functional design and architecture of new requirements
• Looking to leverage Knowledge of existing functionality where ever possible
• Ensure quality of Requirements, design and Analysis documents including holding quality inspections
• Identify Risks and Issues, managing local ones and escalating others to Programme/Project Manager
• Continual process improvement, Monitoring and reporting progress, chairing progress meetings
• Input/attendance at Steering and Governance meetings

Requirements :

Candidates should have

• Minimum of 6 years IT experience of which 3-4 years should be in requirement gathering, solution analysis and design.
• Credit card/ VisionPlus knowledge is essential and knowledge of is a definite advantage of Windows 2000, COBOL, Mainframe applications, IBM JCL and TSO essential.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Oracle warehouse Developer 4 to 5 years exp. Atleast one year of Oracle warehouse builder exp 10g or 9i
